The 15th edition of the Nairobi International Book Fair started in earnest today at the Sarit Centre, Westlands, under the theme “Education and Peace”.
The book fair runs till Sunday, September 30th, and it promises to be one of the most exciting shows that the Kenya Publishers Association has organized in recent years. It has a rich menu of workshops and seminars on topical issues, book launches, book debates, author appearances, and children’s activities.
The book fair will be capped by the announcement of the 2012 winners of the biennial Wahome Mutahi Literary Prize, on Saturday, September 29.
